Sunrisers Hyderabad have been one of the most consistent units in the history of Indian Premier League. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson will lead the franchise for the 15th edition of Indian Premier League that is slated to begin from 26th March.
Hyderabad did manage to sign in-form players like Nicholas Pooran, Glenn Phillips, Aiden Markram, and Rahul Tripathi and for this year’s competition. Sunrisers Hyderabad have managed to win the IPL trophy on one occasion (2016). In 2018, Sunrisers were beaten by Chennai in the finals of Indian Premier League. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s biggest strength is their top order as Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran and Glenn Phillips are included in the setup for the coming season. Markram has been in excellent form for South Africa at the top of the innings this season. The right-hander will be keen to produce notable scores with the bat in order to help Sunrisers go the distance in this year’s competition.
Kane Williamson is a premier performer for Sunrisers in the batting department. New Zealand batsman has done well for the franchise for the past couple of years and will be keen to a do bulk of scoring this season,
Marco Jansen, Romario Shepherd and Washington Sundar have been signed by the franchise for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. Abhishek Sharma and Jagadeesha Suchith have been playing for the franchise for past couple of years.
Romario Shepherd will be a good addition to the franchise as the all-rounder has produced scintillating performances for West Indies in the past 12 months.
Another big player signed by Sunrisers is New Zealand batsman Glenn Phillips, who will be keen to play a pro-active role for the side in this year’s competition. Phillips has done well for his national side in the T20 format.
